As most of you are probably familiar, the crimson red Scout was a very last minute addition to the line of colors being offered. Only a render was provided at the time of launch. But with that said, it turned out to be the most selected color chosen by you all. It also made it a challenge for me, because I had to recreate that render exactly. After a few attempts, we've done it. The red dial prototype is here. And it looks really good. And it is identical to that render you all loved so much. Below is a poor iPhone photo:  In other Scout news, the case backs are being milled now. Things are rolling along. Should have my leather cases mentioned in the previous post shortly....

 Just FYI --- I think I shared this on Instagram, but the leather cases are being made as we speak as well. They came out really well, I'm very pleased.
Wanted to provide background on the Scout and what is happening now....I'll use this page to post updates of where things are in production. The cases are milled from a solid block of 316L stainless steel --- that is happening now. This is one of the more time consuming step of the production process. The red dial sample is complete. Still waiting to get my actual hands on it. Will be putting this into a Scout locally to see how it looks.  |
